It was a Hungarian Grand Prix to remember, as Max Verstappen’s commanding victory saw him make history for Red Bull. And to review all the action from a tense affair in Budapest, we have assembled a stellar crew for the latest episode of the F1 Nation podcast.

Host Tom Clarkson is joined by Channel 4’s Lee McKenzie and ESPN’s Juan Fossaroli to dissect all the action from the weekend. They look back on Verstappen and Red Bull’s dominant performance this weekend and the intense battle for second behind them.

MONDAY MORNING DEBRIEF: No points but plenty of positives from Ricciardo’s first race back

With Verstappen’s victory, Red Bull made it 12 consecutive wins, besting the previous record of 11, set by McLaren back in 1988. Joining the gang to reflect on the success is Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner, as well as the team’s Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey. Jos Verstappen, Max’s father, also explains why ‘focus’ is the key to his son’s unbelievable season.

Also stopping by for a quick chat is McLaren CEO Zak Brown, who discusses all regarding his team’s second consecutive podium finish. Brown heaps praise on both his drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as he talks up the improvements made by his squad.

Clarkson also speaks to Fred Vasseur and Otmar Szafenauer, Team Principals of Ferrari and Alpine, respectively, as both reflect on a trying day for their teams. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished seventh and eighth for the Scuderia, while both Alpine drivers’ days ended on the first lap.
