Sunday’s race began in spectacular fashion as Zhou Guanyu’s Alfa Romeo was upended and sent flying into the catch fence at Turn 1, which brought out a red flag.

The race restarted in the starting order and Verstappen took the lead before slowing as he collected debris. A Safety Car late on then led to one of 2022’s most incredible moments, as Lewis Hamilton sparred with Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez. As for Sainz, he took his first career victory on a spectacular Sunday.
