Max Verstappen and Red Bull enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2022 as the Dutchman raced to 15 Grand Prix victories – more than any other driver has ever achieved in a single campaign – on his way to the world championship title.

Sergio Perez took two more wins as Red Bull sealed their first constructors’ championship since 2013, finally breaking Mercedes’ stranglehold on the crown.

And tonight, Verstappen and Red Bull will be awarded the championship trophies they worked so hard to win across the whole season, at the FIA Prize Giving gala. Held this year in Bologna, Italy, the event will be hosted by the Automobile Club d’Italia, and will honour champions from every major branch of international motor sport.

The event will also be broadcast live across the FIA’s social channels for the first time, and you can watch it all right here, in the video player above, from 9.30pm CET (8.30pm GMT).

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “I’m very pleased that the 2022 FIA Prize Giving, my first as FIA President, will take place in Bologna, in a glorious motor sport area, Motor Valley. We are thankful to the Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI), Regione Emilia-Romagna and the Italian Trade Agency for hosting us, and to our partners Rolex, Hankook, Brembo, Marelli, OMP and Bell for their full support.

“I look forward to celebrating the 2022 champions and sharing this great event with all motor sport fans on the FIA channels.”
